We made it to Edmonton in time to go to the Cari-West Parade. It is a celebration of Caribbean culture. They pull all of their own floats and dance and embrace whatever body type they have.
Cohen wasn't too into it when we first got there.
This guy is in the parade every year. My sisters have got a picture with him in the past.
Lazy days of summer
We also snagged some tickets to The Lion King and so we went on a triple date. It was amazing to see how they made all the animals and the singing was awesome. I love a good broadway show!
The babysitter said Ollie didn't want to sleep by himself, so this is how we found the kids sleeping when we got back from the show.
Early morings with Lisey.
Ollie holding Jack
Dressing up. I love that these two finally get along and play great.
Swimming at the Leg, our favourite Edmonton summer past time.
With Tannis going to Spain and me moving to Alaska we weren't sure how long it would be until we all got together again. It was slightly heartbreaking to think about. I sure love my sisters and spending time together is the greatest!!!
The kids talked Elise into hot tubbing. She is still a pretty awesome aunt even though she has a baby of her own now.
SPLASH PARK
And what's a stay at Erin's without going to Costco at least once. Somehow Elise ended up with all the kids by herself. She looked like a crazy lady.
Snuggling grandma
We went to build a bear and put a heart in Gatey and got some stuffing added to him. Cohen was thrilled to say the least!
MASON AND Q
