AZ to AK

Two days after Nathan and Tannis left the AZ Scow's made it to AK.  The sun was shining so we started it off with a fan favorite the Butte!

Then we met up with Denton for a fire and some shooting on the Knik.

A sunny Saturday means Mirror Lake!

One night Denton and Jason came home to find a bear in our yard.  

Jason caught a silver at Ship Creek, aka the ditch

They went on a guided tour of the Matanuska glacier. 

We had a Mama moose with two calves show up in our yard

Spent an afternoon in hope catching pinks

We took a Sunday stroll up to Gold Cord in Hatchers.  Cohen, Mason, and Madi all jumped in.  Ollie opted for the toe dip.  After we got to the top I heard Hailey tell Madi that their definition of a Sunday stroll and our's are very different. 😂

ALSO HARPER STARTED TAKING A FEW STEPS THE DAY AFTER TANNIS LEFT AND SHOWED OFF HER SKILLS UP AT THE LAKE.

Went to check out the salmon at the hatchery followed by some wild scoops ice cream.

The boys love having cousins to play with. 

And of course a quick jaunt around the Rodak Loop at the nature center.

We had to sneak in a game night.  When we lived in AZ we spent many nights hanging with Jay and Mel playing games.  It was fun to do it again.
