Summer Daze, Welling style

After my Mom deserted us to go hike the coast of Newfoundland we hit up Walmart for a few supplies.  I think the kids were overtired by this point and lets just say they were all melting down at one point.  

July 3rd is my Dad's birthday so we stopped by with the kids to say Hi.  I think he would be very proud of us and although sometimes it breaks my heart that he isn't here with these grandkids right now I know he is watching out for them. 

 Unfortunately most afternoons a thunderstorm would roll in so we took advantage of nice days when they came.  One day we hit up Wally's beach and it did not disappoint.

The kittens were a big hit.  Mason spent most of his time trying to sneak them in the house.  One day he said, "How would you feel if you were a cat and no one let you in the house?"

Thanks to a hot water faucet outside we had some sweet hot tubs!

We got to celebrate Scarlett's (aka CARL) 3rd birthday.  She is the sweetest little girl and we just lover her to pieces. 

 7-11= Free slurpee day

 We met up with Michelle and Heidi my good friends from high school.  We went to the Magrath market and then walked around the fish pond.  Later that night we went out to dinner.

  Cohen found a snake and picked it up with no hesitations.  Glad this one didn't have a rattle!

 We went to lunch at Grandma Wilde's.  The older 3 disappeared and when we found them they looked like this...

 We always try to fit as many people as possible on one quad.

 The main reason we spent two weeks in Welling was so we could put the kids in swimming lessons at the Raymond pool.  It was awesome and the kids loved it!

Last day of lessons

 With their new found swimming skills we took the kids bridge jumping.  Cohen thought it was the coolest a jumped off a bunch of times.  Mason was a little hesitant but finally did it a couple of times!
